Clematis flower essence for ADD/ADHD

What is ADD/ADHD? That is a question with many different answers. We will focus on the how the flower essence of Clematis can help people with this common condition.

CLEMATIS
  • Lack of interest in present
  • Daydreaming/zoning out
  • Difficulty paying attention
  • Poor memory
This is a brief list of the 'symptoms' of ADD/ADHD, one can find nuances to this list as well. We are told it is a chemical imbalance in the brain that is the cause. Could be true might not be true. The truth of the official story is not in question, nor is the label ADD/ADHD. We will look at it as a way to describe behavior and not let the label limit or define us.

One of the great lessons we can take from the work of Dr. Bach is to look at what is going on, the symptoms in the behavior and emotions related to the situation. Bach was less interested in disease than in his patients reaction to his disease and how it made him/her feel.

Lets take this approach to ADD/ADHD and see what Clematis flower essence can tell us.

Symptoms Clematis Treats:
  • Dreaminess, not fully awake
  • Drowsy; listless
  • Far away; stuck in thought
  • Half hearing what is said

If you suffer from any of these symptoms Clematis flower essence might be of use in helping you to stay present and engaged in the world and your work.

Walnut Flower Essence; an essence for the changing times.

Walnut is a prime essence for the changing times we are in and for times when are life is going through massive changes.

Walnut Flower Essence is Useful When We:
  • are in the midst of a major life change
  • just moved to a new house, school or changed jobs
  • want to break the spell of the past
  • want to develop independence from past influences
  • are embarking on a new path in life
  • need to feel more comfortable with change

The walnut ‘mother’ tree secretes a chemical from its roots which prevents the growth of other walnuts from taking root near it. The walnut is encased in a pericap which protects the nut inside when it drops from the tree. The sponge like pericap allows the nut to bounce and roll from the mother. In a sense the baby walnut is free to follow its own journey and grow independently from its mother to stand alone.

This signature of walnut tells us much about how the essences helps us to free our minds from the past and move forward with confidence. The walnut has two halves and the distinct folds and crevices resemble the human brain. This essence helps us make big changes in our conscious mind which can lead us forward as we grow and change. This psychological independence is necessary for our growth as we develop into our true selves.

Dr. Bachs life is a prime example of the positive walnut state. He left behind London, a lucrative medical practice and a world that was familiar to him to pursue something new. His freedom of mind and spirit led to a new paradigm of healing. This new paradigm of treating the personality is revolutionary in its approach and effectiveness. In the spirit of walnut, may we all be free to pursue our destiny and fulfill our purpose.

Many new changes after a long absence

For anyone reading this blog it is evident that I have not posted any new content in 10 months.
This does not mean I have not been active and is no reflection of my commitment to flower essences and spreading the word about them. This year has quite possibly been my biggest year so far with flower essences.

One amazing unfolding for me this year has been the co-creation of a new set of remedies from Mt. Shasta. The above image is of monkshood brewing in the sun, the glass is perched on rock above a glorious pool of water fed by a spring. The whole area where this and 12 other essences were created brim and bubble over with so much exquisite magic. This new line of essences will be unveiled soon under the banner Elemental Garden Remedies.

Another big change for me and my mission to expand the use and understanding of flower essences is a brand new website. Please visit www.essencealchemy.com to see all the great changes. This site will be a work in progress as there is always more information to share.

Abundance Formulas and How to Create them Part 1

Abundance Formulas and How to Create them Part 1

I view working with flower remedies as a process, akin to painting, when a painter sits down to create he/she begins with a blank canvas. This freedom of space allows creativity to blossom. When applying this process to creating a personalized formula it is helpful to clear out the old, then rebuild. When negative thoughts and feelings creep out of the shadows and into our life they can wreak havoc. This is important to understand because negativity can be a factor X. An unseen force which acts against our own good intentions.

Some essences for clearing negativity and removing blocks to abundance. These twelve essences are not the only one you could use but they are a good place to start.

  • *Ti Plant- this is a powerful universal clearing remedy; it works to clear negativity from the mind, cut cords and clear our “path to power”. This remedy is highly beneficial for all aspects of clearing.
  • *Goldenseal- This essence works to clear out the subconscious helping one to release obsessive thinking patterns and blocks.
  • Gorse- This essence treats both pessimism and a complete lack of sense of hopelessness.
  • Gentian- This essence treats despondency after a setback.
  • Starflower-This essence helps on to balance both light and dark aspects of the personality, offering protection from negative influences.
  • Bluebell- This essence is for those who dwell in negativity, trouble cycling out of grumpiness and cynicism.
  • Borage-This is an uplifting essence which helps us to feel more buoyant when feeling down.
  • Witch Hazel- This essence offers lightness and hope in times of darkness and anxiety; it helps to lift us out depressed moods.
  • *Northern Coral Root-This essence helps to turn old, dark, scummy energy into light. Helps us to let go and move toward a new stage in life.
  • River Beauty- This essence helps us to start over from an emotionally devastating experience.
  • *Pennyroyal- This essence helps to release from our own negative thought patterns by stopping the recycling of these thoughts in the energy field.
  • Wild Rose-This essence helps us to overcome apathy and ambivalence, it helps one to regain an interest in life. Useful when feeling chronically flat or dull.
  • *Pine-This essence is for clearing feeling of guilt and self blame, very useful when clearing negative patterns.
  • *Crab Apple-This essence helps to clear obsessive thoughts and feeling, also useful for general clearing.

Essences marked with a * are specific remedies to address negativity in a broad way. They help in a broad way to clear the energy system of dense, dull and draining energy. All of the essences listed above are available from www.essencealchemy.com. Select the ones you want and we will make them into a dosage bottle for you. Other essences to look at include Holly, Beech and Star of Bethlehem.

Part of this process of clearing it is recommended that you review your thoughts and feelings in regards to money, abundance and your own self worth. Also look at value and compromise. How much do you value you time and how much are you willing to compromise? This is a potent question when you sit with it and begin to examine the thoughts and feelings that arise around it.

By compromise I mean: What are you giving up by working in a job you dislike? What could you be doing differently so you don’t have to compromise? Life is short and time is precious. You have the power to change your life and move in a direction of your choosing.

Abundance Formulas and How to Create Them

Happy New Year to All!

" Abundance Formulas and How to Create Them" is a new series I created help you help yourself. In this series we will examine a 3 areas to help you best fine tune an "Abundance Formula" for yourself. Abundance as defined by the Merriam-Websters dictionary is "an ample quality; relative degree of plentifulness".

It helps to asses the many factors underlying the term of abundance before deciding on which essences to include in your formula(s). The first area we will examine relates to clearing negativity and removing poverty consciousness. In Part 2 we will look at the importance inspiration, self esteem, self worth and motivation. . Then in Part 3 we will examine how to more fully identify with the positive aspects of ourselves and the importance of gratitude.

Success with this program will be an evolutionary process. Results will not happen overnight, results will be based on your input and action. The essences are tools to facilitate your growth and progress, you cannot just take them, sit back and expect miracles. You can use them proactively, take action and create miracles.

Change of this nature is an inside out process, happening first within yourself, in the area of thoughts and feelings. These changes will give you access to a new perspective helping you to see things differently. Such as seeing possibilities where you have previously seen blocks and insurmountable obstacles. New perspectives knocking at your door are a call, an invitation to live in a new paradigm from your higher self. If the old perspectives are not getting you where you want, why not change? There is nothing to lose but old limiting thoughts, beliefs and patterns, that you don't care for anyway.

This series is designed to help point you in the direction where you are empowered to look into areas of your life that aren't working and make the changes you desire. I will be adding steps 1,2 and 3 over the coming weeks. If you have any questions in regards to this process or would like more a personalized consultation feel free to e-mail me at flowerremedy@gmail.com.
